EV Charging FAQ – Ontario

Yes. In Ontario, all Level 2 charger installs legally require an ESA permit and inspection. Camarc Electric takes care of this for you.


Most EV chargers require a 200A panel. If you have an older 100A panel, we’ll assess and upgrade if necessary β€” safely and to code.


Most installs are completed within 2–4 hours. More complex installs like panel upgrades or trenching may take longer. We’ll give you a clear quote upfront.


Yes. We install chargers in condo garages, commercial parking lots, and multi-unit buildings using smart load-sharing systems.


Currently, Ontario doesn’t offer rebates. But this may change β€” we’ll notify you of any new federal or utility-based programs as they become available.
