⚡ EV Incentives & Rebates – July 2025 Update

Thinking about getting an electric vehicle or installing a home charger?

⛔ Federal iZEV: This rebate paused in January 2025, but if you ordered before the cutoff, you might still qualify.

✅ Provincial Rebates:
- Quebec & BC still offer major incentives — save up to $12,000 when stacked with provincial programs.
- Atlantic Canada offers rebates between $2,500 – $5,000 depending on the province.

🔌 Charger Incentives (Home & Business)

🏠 City of Toronto – HELP Program: Low-interest loans for homeowners installing Level 2 EV chargers.

📍 Ontario EV Charger Grant (NEW!):
- Open now (until July 23, 2025)
- Covers up to $99,999 per project for multi-unit, commercial, or public installs.

🌐 ChargeON Program:
- Supports up to 75% of install costs for chargers in small towns and underserved areas.
- Next intake to be announced — stay tuned.

🏢 Hypercharge EV Support:
- For businesses, non-profits, and municipalities installing public or shared-use chargers.

🌿 Indigenous & Community-Based Funding

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Indigenous Clean Energy (ICE):
- Grants and technical support available for First Nations, Inuit, Métis groups and Friendship Centres.
